Rental Policies
Identification:
A drivers license or other official picture I D, (such as a military
or Ma. I D card) along with a major credit card are required for all rentals.
Customers who do not live in our primary rental area may be asked to leave
a security deposit. This deposit amount will vary depending on the item
being rented, and must be paid by cash or credit card. A local job site
address and phone number will also be required in some cases.
Payment:
All rentals are to be paid in advance, unless a charge account has been
established with us. Payment may be made with American Express, Master
Card, Visa, Discover, local checks or cash.
Rental Period---In General:
We charge from the time a rented item leaves our store until the time
it’s returned. We realize that the items may not be being used this
entire time, but we must charge on the basis of time out, not time used
since we cannot rent the items to someone else while they are in your
possession.

Rental Period---Equipment:
Most equipment rental items are offered as a 4 hour or full day rental.
Monday thru Friday, a full day is defined as any 24
hour period. 4 hour rentals on high demand items are generally rented
from 8:00 AM to Noon, or Noon to 4:00 PM.
On Saturday, a daily rental is from 8:00AM to 5:00
PM. Rental items returned by 8:00AM Monday are charged a one and
one half ( 1 ½ ) day rental.
Sunday Rentals, are available by picking up the items
Saturday between 4:00 and 5:00PM. (pick up as early as 3:00pm is
available if the item is here at that time.) Items rented for Sunday are
due back at 8:AM Monday.
Metered Equipment, is intended to be run a maximum
of 8 hours during a 24 hour rental period. Additional metered usage may
be charged upon return.

Rental Period---Party Items:
Party rental periods generally cover the time needed for one event.
Items for weekend events can be picked up anytime Friday or Saturday for
return anytime on Monday. The charge for this period is based on the one
day rate. Multiple event rentals will be quoted separately.
Equipment Breakdowns:
We strive to keep our equipment in top working order at all times. “Murphys
Law” however says that problems sometimes can and will occur. If you
have any problems or questions about the items that you rent, please Call us
right away. Many problems can be solved over the phone. Should the problem
occur after our store has closed, please leave a message on our night
service and we will address the problem when we reopen.

Reservations:
We are pleased to accept reservations for future rentals on both equipment
and party items. A credit card is required for all reservations.
A reservation for equipment (non-party) may be cancelled without penalty
with a minimum of 48 hours notice, or a weather related issue is involved.
A reservation for party items may be cancelled without penalty with
a minimum of one week notice, or a weather related issue is involved.
Customers providing insufficient or no notice to cancel a reservation
will incure a 20% charge of the reservations rental total.
Extending The Length Of Your Rental:
If you rent an item, and realize that you won’t have the job done
by the time the equipment is due back, please Call us
as soon as possible to try to extend the rental. If the equipment is already
reserved for someone else then you’ll have to return it at the time
on the contract. If it’s not booked, then we’ll be happy to
extend the rental period for you.

10% Damage Waiver Charge:
The Damage Waiver is added to all contracts automatically, if you wish
to reject it, you must do so when you are picking up the item(s).
The following explains what Damage Waiver covers:
“If you pay the damage charge (DWC) as specified, subject to the
limitations and exclusions below, dealer agrees to modify the terms of
this contract and relieve you of liability for accidental damage to the
rented item(s) on this contract, and for loss due to fire, windstorm, upset,
and riot. We exclude from the waiver, however, any loss or damage due to
theft, burglary, collision, misuse or abuse, theft by conversion, intentional
damage, mysterious disappearance or any loss due to your failure to care
for the rental item(s) as a prudent person would his/her own property,
such as proper lubrication. In addition, a further condition of this waiver
is that you must file a report to the proper law enforcement authorities
and furnish us a copy.”
